Panax ginseng

Ginseng (Panax ginseng) B.E.E.^® – The biologically active constituents in Panax ginseng are the complex mixture of triterpene saponins known as ginsenosides.  The root contains 2-3% ginsenosides.  The two main ginsenosides suppress and stimulate the central nervous system.  These actions contribute to the adaptogenic properties of ginseng and its purported ability to balance bodily functions.  Panax ginseng contains a variety of other compounds as well as ginsenosides which are responsible for ginseng’s complex pharmacological activities.  Ginseng’s salicylate and vanillic acids show anti-oxidant and anti-fatigue effects; ginseng promotes vasodilation and act as an anxiolytic and anti-depressant; ginseng extracts and ginsenosides show effectiveness in stimulating learning, memory, and physical capabilities, in supporting radioprotection, providing resistance to infection and enhancing energy metabolism.

Angelica

Angelica B.E.E.^® -- is a good source of iron, cobalt and essential oils that contribute to the regulation of menstruation.  It is useful in balancing and treating many female systems and cycles.  It acts to stimulate the central nervous system, which can remedy weakness and headaches associated with menstrual disorders.  It strengthens internal reproductive organs, helps internal bleeding or bruising, relieves menstrual cramps, regulates uterine contractions and alleviates some symptoms related to menopause.  A large part of its action with regard to premenstrual syndrome (PMS), may be related to its antispasmodic actions, particularly on smooth muscles.  Angelica B.E.E.^® also contains phytoestrogen, which has a chemical structure similar to the body’s own estrogen, but without the adverse effects.  It can occupy the receptor of the body’s estrogen, thus lowering body estrogen levels and in turn, reducing the adverse effects of estrogen dominance.

Glycerol Monolaurate (GML) ^® -- is a fatty acid derivative naturally found in breast milk.  It destroys the fatty coating that allows viruses to latch onto healthy cells, GML is also effective in blocking or delaying the production of exotoxins by pathogenic gram-positive bacteria streptococci and staphylococci thus helping women avoid numerous potential viral and bacterial infections.  It is also used as a natural preservative.

Wild yam root

Lecithin -- is a lipid required by all cells in the body.  It works as an emulsifier to improve the stability of the cream and helps with the absorption of both the water-soluble and oil-soluble active ingredients.
